** It was great to see many members and friends at the Weihnachtsmarkt to celebrate Christmas. Next December we hope to secure more places for this ever popular event.  Our Christmas lunch was a great opportunity to look back and reminisce about our activities in 2024 – and what a year it has been! Do take a look at the latest newsletter compiled by Jonathan Radnedge and now available on the website to catch up on all the things we have been up to this year.

Speaking of events, 2025 is already set to be a busy time for Bristol Hannover. After the latest extremely successful visit by the Bristol group to Hannover, we welcome back our friends from Hannover to Bristol in August 2025. Hot on their heels in September a delegation of representatives from civic groups in Hannover will visit Bristol to connect with societies and groups over here. We look forward to meeting them.

There will be a full social and cultural programme as well, starting in the New Year with a talk from Michael Bloom about the fascinating story of his uncle Horst Berkowitz, a prominent and courageous Jewish lawyer in Hannover during the 1930s and 1940s. We will publish full details on our website. We look forward to seeing and meeting as many of you as possible in 2025.
