Hannoverians visit Bristol and Chair honoured with Lord Mayor’s International Medal
Anne von Thadden-Schmidt the outgoing chair of the Hannover Bristol Gesellschaft (HBG) has been awarded the Lord Mayor’s International Medal.

Anne has been chair of the HBG for over ten years and has been involved for many years before that as interpreter and active member. For the first time she admitted she was speechless!
The Hannover citizens group took part in a lively and interesting programme of visits and events arranged by Lynne Evans and Ann Kennard from the BHC. The group was led by the new HBG chair Robert Nicholls who is an SPD councillor in Hannover and is half English with family in the Bristol area.
