BMMHS Zoom Talk ‘Berlin Divided City’

** Join us for a Zoom talk tracing Berlin’s extraordinary Cold War story — from the four-power occupation and the 1948–49 Berlin Airlift, through the building of the Wall in 1961, to the tense stand-offs and superpower summits that made the city the front line of East-West confrontation. The talk explores daily life in a city split between two worlds, and how Berlin came to symbolise both the depths of Cold War division and its eventual, dramatic end in 1989.
