RISE Dance in great exchange visits between Bristol and Hannover
** In 2026, RISE hosted an exciting international youth dance exchange with young dancers from Hannover.
Bristol’s RISE youth dancers travelled to Hannover, where they took part in dance workshops, creative projects, performances and cultural experiences, before welcoming the Hannover group to the UK.
The exchange gave young people the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other dancers, share their creativity and experiences, develop new skills and build friendships across cultures.
It was a celebration of youth, dance and international connection, giving young people a valuable opportunity to experience life as part of a wider dance community. This project was funded by Cultural Bridge and Bristol-Hannover Council.
