Rosenmontag party at the Bavarian Beerhouse!

This year’s Rosenmontag/Fasching party, on Monday 3rd March, was held at the Bavarian Beerhouse, a new venture in order to give a suitably German flavour to the festivities. Tables were decorated with British and German flags on the red and white checked tablecloths in the very comfortable upper room of the Beerhouse just off Queen Square. We ate Wurst, cheese, salad and pretzels and drank beer and wine – and of course sang the Karneval songs with great gusto! A great time was had by all, and we hope to be able to repeat it next year. In the meantime, join us there for our monthly ‘Hannoverfest’, from 7.30 p.m. on every third Wednesday of the month!
